Abstract

The project of Mohammed Arkoun represents the new modernist method in its most prominent manifestations or as it is described by some “The Head of Modernism”( The New Modernism) ، which means ، in the same time ، the estrangement with the heritage as well as care about it and interested in it. Arkoun is considered as one of the most prominent modernists ، whose plead to review the heritage and read and perceive it in a critical way ، without exception including the religious text and the Islamic heritage . Hence ، based on that ، this research paper is going to shed light on the critical method of Mohammed Arkoun and its most important basis and mechanisms.
