El Omda in Linguistics and Discourse Analysis aims to facilitate the publication of original research in a clear and organized manner. This guide provides authors with essential instructions for manuscript preparation in accordance with journal policies and international publishing standards (COPE).
Article Format
The journal accepts original research articles and critical reviews in linguistics and discourse analysis. Manuscripts should be concise and clear. The recommended length is up to 5,000 words, including references. The title must be concise (max 20 words) and reflect the scientific message.
Abstract
The abstract should be between 150 and 250 words. It should provide a concise summary of the research problem, methodology, and key findings without citations.
Keywords
Include 5 to 7 specific keywords or phrases to facilitate indexing and discoverability.
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should generally follow this structure:
- Introduction (Problem statement & Objectives)
- Theoretical Framework
- Methods and Analysis
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion and Recommendations
- References
- Appendices (if applicable)
References
References must follow academic standards (preferably APA 7th Edition). Only published or accepted works should be cited. DOIs must be included where available.
Research Ethics
Authors must include statements confirming ethical approval for studies involving human participants. Any use of AI tools in the preparation of the manuscript must be explicitly disclosed.
