Abstract

 This study examines the nature and characteristics of newspaper writing by the poet and author Ayache Yahiaoui, whose writings are not limited to the literary field, but rather to the press and media; as he was an outstanding writer. Ayache Yahiaoui practiced newspaper writing through many Algerian newspapers during the 1980s and 1990s. The author's journalistic talent became more visible when he immigrated to the United Arab Emirates. He served as editor of the cultural section of the “Gulf newspaper” in Sharjah and as chief researcher of the Abu Dhabi authority for culture and heritage, publishing numerous newspaper articles in various Arab newspapers and magazines. Ayache Yahiaoui relied on the article as a newspaper art in his social writing which held many social and intellectual values.
