Abstract

The text addresses the issue of the importance of the "key" in Arabic rhetoric and questions its distinction and role in enhancing or distorting texts. The author points out that the key can be a means of attracting attention, which calls for reflection on it. The text also discusses the influence of Al-Sakkaki in rhetoric and questions his relationship with Al-Jurjani and Al-Qazwini, and whether he contributed to connecting or separating their ideas. The author concludes by emphasizing the importance of understanding the relationship between separation and connection in rhetoric, considering it an important practical aspect of his study.
