Abstract

abstract : This research deals with the issue of the factor, which is one of the important foundations on which Arabic grammar is based, and it is one of the most controversial and debated topics. It is a wide section in Arabic and the theory of the worker in Arabic grammar is considered one of the most important linguistic theories on which ancient grammarians relied on controlling the Arabic language. Establish grammar rules. The factor theory is based on expressing the relationships between the parts of the structures and the interrelationships between the elements of each sentence. This paper deals with a definition of the worker «language and idiom», the genesis of the worker, the sections of the worker - verbal and moral - as well as the position of some ancient and modern grammarians regarding the theory of the worker, between those who considered it the basis in Arabic grammar and those who saw that this theory leads to the cost of grammarians in setting the grammatical rules .
