This study came to shed light on one of the problems from which the gifted child suffers, namely anxiety, and to verify the effectiveness of a group counseling program in reducing the acuity of anxiety, in learners gifted in the primary cycle. In some schools in the municipality of Annaba. The study targeted 28 gifted learners in school, including 14 in the experimental group divided into 07 boys and 07 girls and the same number for the control group, namely 14 learners divided into 07 boys and 07 girls. The sampling was controlled and took place in 5 primary schools. The data was processed statistically by: frequencies, arithmetic mean, Pearson correlation coefficient, T test, standard deviation, analysis of variance. The results show the effectiveness of the program and its effect on reducing anxiety, gifted learners in the primary cycle.
