Représentations du français en espace arabophone, ville de M’Sila: quelles valeurs ?

Abstract

This study is a reflection on the representations of French in the Arabic-speaking area, more precisely in the city of M’Sila. We analyse and interpret our interviewees’ discourses on French in their language practices and of those living in their neighborhood in order to understand the construction of representations of French, their meaning and the values attributed to this language by the epilinguistic discourse of the respondent
