Abstract

The current study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a program consisting of (08) session based on the psychological flexibility in reducing test anxiety, on a sample of (33) final section learners from Hassi Bahbah Djelfa secondary schools, distributed between males and females across the sections Scientific and literary students are practicing their studies during the academic year 2023/2024. They were chosen intentionally. The experimental approach with a one-group design was used with a pre- and post-measurement, where the Sarson test anxiety scale was used, and a training program to develop psychological flexibility, where the problem revolved around the possibility of adopting psychological flexibility for acceptance and commitment therapy as a strategy to reduce test anxiety. The results of the study revealed the contribution of psychological flexibility for acceptance and commitment therapy and the size of its effect in reducing test anxiety, as (23) learners from the sample recovered, while (10) learners improved significantly.
