Abstract

The mask performance symbolized a prominent phenomenon in modern Arabic poetry, With this strategy, the poet invokes a historical, mythological, or religious figure He hires her, hiding behind her, to carry out his poetic experience, And The personalities of the prophets are among the most important figures that contemporary poets dealt with at the level of the symbol and the mask in particular Because they are characters that are distinguished by their intellectual depth, they are active and effective personalities at the level of life, This article seeks to trace mask technique into contemporary Algerian poetry by the poet Othman Lusif And try to find out what the poet has achieved from the poetic This is in order to understand the dimensions of the phenomenon, which is considered within the framework of the poem as an aesthetic perception that takes symbolic aspects.
