Abstract

The phenomenon of multilingualism is a widespread phenomenon and almost any society is devoid of it, and multilingualism leads to the use of two language patterns in one society. Algeria is one of those societies, which is characterized by its multiplicity of languages and cultures. As a foreign language. This article therefore sheds light on the phenomenon of multilingualism and its negative and positive repercussions on the linguistic reality in Algeria. Based on that , we must offer as a set of solutions and suggestions that are necessary treatments to solve the .problems of our multingual reality ; and also in order to reduce the negatives of multilingualism in Algeria.
