Abstract

Abstract Cinematic discourse employs rich technical and expressive means, forging a dynamic cinematic language for meaning production. Films aim to guide viewer perception, disseminating ideologies and implicit messages. No text or image is neutral, hence no film is innocent. This study seeks to excavate the film "Land of Hypocrisy" (1968) to reveal social patterns and coded messages. Camera shots and angles will be analyzed to expose the richness of the cinematic language
