A viral nature of internet memes, repurposing their humor into a tool for illustrating meaningful situations. This process allgerian internet users were able to take advantage of thelows us to raise awareness about cultural heritage elements in the Hodna region on a large scale, which consequently contributes to their preservation.

Not only does this article conduct research about the contributions of the digital world to the preservation of cultural heritage in the Hodna region, but it also sheds light on the material and immaterial heritage which is characteristic of this region.
