Cognitive integration between psychology and Islamic sciences.
Abstract
This paper aims to shed light on the on the essence of the relationship between psychology and Islamic sciences, the field of mutual cognitive benefit between the two sciences as a form of cognitive integration between them, and what results from this combination of development of these sciences, especially in terms of teaching methods and their impact on the individual and society.
Where this paper deals with how psychology can benefit from Islamic sciences as one of the proposed solutions to get out of the crisis that he suffers from, perhaps the most important of which is the association of psychology with the Western curricula who founded and developed it in a way that suits the characteristics of the Western individual and his environment. Therefore, it becomes evident that it is necessary to reconsider these postulates on which contemporary psychology is based, and to take a serious step towards cognitive integration with Islamic sciences as one of the proposed solutions.
On the other hand, , the current paper deals with how Islamic sciences can benefit from psychology in developing its educational curricula and teaching methods, by addressing how to employ modern learning methods known as active learning in teaching Islamic sciences in the higher education phase, as one of the proposed solutions to get out of this science from the purely theoretical framework in which it was placed. so that these sciences regain their place and function to them in educating young people and establishing values and morals in society, after the latter has declined remarkably recently.
