Abstract

The objective of this study is to explore the characteristics of the delinquents Family System,
using Olson's explanatory model, which has two dimensions: cohesion and family
adaptability. To this object, the olson family adaptability and cohesion test (FASCES III) was
applied to a sample of 105 delinquents (56 boys and 49 girls, aged 15 and 6 months on
average). The results obtained show that:
- Delinquents Family System is an unbalanced and disengaged
- Delinquents Family System is unbalanced and rigid
