Heart of the media: Case of discussions and comments on the social network “Facebook” dealing with the subject of Covid-19

Abstract

Our article focuses on a textual analysis of discussions and comments posted on the social network “Facebook” addressing the theme of “COVID-19,” in which we identified the presence of discursive violence. Thus, the aim of this study is to identify the criteria of violent discourse. To achieve this, we analyzed our corpus based on five levels: thematic, enunciative, pragmatic, stylistic, and compositional (sequential).
