The current study aims to draw attention to the necessity of accompanying psychological care to medical care when treating a cancer patient, psychotherapy by Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrated psychotherapeutic approach, especially when it is combined with positive psychology in specialized protocols, on top of which is the protocol for stabilization and development of resources (DIR), applied according to One case trial represented by a female patient with jaw
cancer, and for special circumstances in research on the efficacy of a particular treatment, using the experimental method, design A-B-A, using DSM-5-compliant data-gathering tools, the second Beck Scale for Depression, Hamilton Anxiety and Davidson Trauma Finally, based on six hypotheses, the study concluded with the effectiveness of the proposed psychological treatment, but rather the effectiveness increases over time and at high rates in the treatment of depression, anxiety and shock as psychological dimensions of cancer. The importance of the study is manifested in revealing the effectiveness of this psychotherapy, especially on cancer patients, and the contribution of its results to the development of new horizons for specialized scientific research.
