The role of social support in alleviating psychological stress among nurses of the Covid-19 department.

The current study aimed to identify the role of social support in alleviating psychological stress among nurses of the Covid-19 department, the sample consisted of 45 nurses working in the aforementioned department at Al-Zahrawi Hospital and Suleiman Omairat Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics in M'Sila, The sample members were selected intentionally from the available population, To achieve the objectives of the study, the research group used the descriptive approach and applied the social support scale for its owner (Samira Abdullah Al-Kurdi) and applied the Levanstein psychological stress scale, After collecting the data, the research group used the statistical package for the social sciences "spss" program to process the data using the following statistical methods, arithmetic averages, standard deviations, t-test for two independent samples and Pearson correlation coefficient, Finally, the study concluded the following results:
- The level of social support for the nurses of the Covid-19 department was high.
-There is no correlation between social support and psychological stress among covid 19 nurses.
- There are no statistically significant differences in both social support and psychological stress due to the variable of social status.
-There are no statistically significant differences in both social support and psychological stress due to the age variable.
