The effect of the Teacch Structured Education Program in developing adaptive behavior skills for children with autism spectrum disorder

The current study aimed to identify the impact of the organized teacch program, (Teach) To develop the adaptive behavior skills of children with autism spectrum disorder and to know the extent to which some emotional expressions of a child with autism are developed and provoked and to acquire skills in communication and social interaction with others. The study sample consisted of (04) four children with small degree autism spectrum disorder. The researcher used the psycho-educational profile test for autistic children - the third edition for pre- and post-measurement, the item on non-adaptive behaviors in light of the objectives of the research، the limits of its hypotheses، and the sample size, the researcher used non-laboratory statistical treatment by using
the Wilkekson test for two linked samples between the pre and post measurement, the study didn't show any significant differences on the emotional behavior among the average scores of autistic children in the tribal and dimensional measurements، thus the study indicated the absence of the effect of the structured education program applied (Teachch). Accordingly, the desired goals of the study in general and of the program in particular were not achieved، and in light of these results, the researcher proposed a set of suggestions that he hopes to work with.
