Abstract

This paper addresses an important sociological topic that related with the working women and strategy that show how she manages the issue of raising and caring her children. Women's work makes a lot of arguments between researchers from varied specialties from the past till now.  There were many studies dealt with this topic, due to the diversity and the multiplicity of dimensions related to it. Opinions and points of views were varied between supporters and opponents to the woman's work. However, the inevitability of the new transformation and changes that the Algerian society has witnessed, which had an impact on the Algerian family and its members role and status impose woman to work outside. Regardless her reasons that prompted her to do so, whether the need was financial or personal for work. In addition to her work inside the home, her work outside doubled her role and increased the responsibilities placed on her, which reflected her role as a housewife and mother who is primarily responsible for caring for her children, raising them, and satisfying their various necessary psychological needs (affection, love, tenderness) and biological (education, nutrition, health). Various researches concerned with the issue of women’s work have been directed to studying it from different angles and dimensions, such as its impact on herself, on raising her children, and its impact on her relationship with her husband. That’s what led us to search about a new dimension relates to this topic. In this study we deal with issue of woman's work from a new angle, which seeks to know and understand the ways and Strategies that working mother follow in raising her children in Hammam Dalaa municipality. In our field study we based on the qualitative approach in analysis. We did direct interviews with working mothers from different sectors in Hammam Dalaa city
