Abstract

The current research is a field study that aims at detecting the quality of early, non-adapted plansin mothers of children with Down syndrome, through the adoption of a case study approach, by studying two cases as a model for mothers of children with Down syndrome , which we selected from the group of mothers whose children go to The Ben Aarab Boujemaa Center for People with Special Needs in Bouira province. we relied on the half-interview, according to the Young Jeffrey model and the scale of the early adaptations of Young Jeffrey. The results showed that experiencing the pressures that accompany the birth and care of a child with Down syndrome activates early, unadapted plans among mothers, represented in the plan of suspicion and abuse, the emotional deficiency plans, the plans of feeling abandoned and neglected / unstable as basic plans in organizing their personalities. The importance of this research lies in the effective role that plans play in the field of interpersonal relationships. And represented by the strategies used by mothers of children with Down syndrome in dealing with the new event first and then dealing with their children , and this interaction is what determines the success of any psychological guarantee, through which we guarantee effective interaction between parents and the specialist supervising the condition of children , in order to integrate this group in society and help them to be independent and self-reliant.
