Open source documentary software applications in university libraries

Abstract

This study deals with the subject of open source documentary software and its applications in Algerian university libraries, as the process of shifting towards open source documentary software goes through scientific and methodological stages that must be followed carefully and applied perfectly. And the digitization of its balance in the long term, so this study came to shed light on the most important features and characteristics of open source documentary software for university libraries and the mechanisms of its application.
