Abstract

In pursuit of quality public service, the state seeks to generalize digitalization in administrations as a primary means of achieving quality service delivery. Municipalities now offer various services through internet networks and electronic devices, requiring material and human resources to bring administration closer to citizens and facilitate access to documents. Biometric national identity cards, passports, and driver's licenses rely on a global digital system for data processing and document issuance, This is achieved through the electronic window for secure documents, a program developed as a network and large database containing personal information for each Algerian citizen. This study aims to introduce this program, examining its key features, practical applications, effectiveness, and identifying observed shortcomings that can be addressed in the future, By exploring digitalization in public administration, this research contributes to understanding its impact on service delivery in Algeria. The study provides insights for policymakers and administrators seeking to improve public services and enhance citizen satisfaction, highlighting the potential for future improvements
