The manifestations of romanticism in the poetry of Elia Abi Madi (Diwan Jadawel)

Abstract

The main subject of the research revolves around the manifestations of the romantic sense of the

poet Elia Abi Madi, who belongs to the romantic school. Form an objective and artistic view of his

poetry in the Diwan (Jadawel). Perhaps romance brings together multiple psychological,

contemplative, and human aspects. Among the most prominent manifestations of objective romance that have been identified are: nature, women and love, melancholy and sadness; these

manifestations represent important aspects of Elia's poetry in his Diwan Jadawel, and therefore

the images associated with these subjects give them strength; Due to the beauty of the description

mplete harmony with the elements of the surrounding nature. We tried in this research to

propose a reading of the novel of the poet Elia Abi Madi; Since it is material worthy of research,

and it was based on a preface in which a presentation of the concept of romance and the signs

surrounding it, its characteristics, an overview of the life of Elia Abi Madi, and something about

her poetry, and after accessing this research with its two sides: the objective represented by nature,

sadness, and the artistic represented by semiotics of title, language

and artistic image, while dealing with theoretical matter by application to the poet's Diwan
