The Mask of the Prophets in Contemporary Arabic Poetry

the contemporary poem by searching for tools to avoid those classic aesthetics, and seeking to overcome the paths that preceded it by searching for techniques linking the poet and the vision, poetry and prophecy, it turned out that the mask was one of the most appropriate and effective of these tools. Thus, in the midst of this tireless quest, the Arab poet returned to his heritage from which he draws his symbols and wears the masks of its figures. However, the religious heritage, in its intellectual and spiritual values is considered as the generous source. Also, the prophets figures remain one of the most important symbols and masks that attracted poets as well. That is why, I will try in this article to approach it with some poetic texts that worked on wearing the mask of some of the prophets by defining the technique, observed the manifestations of three prophetic masks
