The meaningful irony phenomenon in ahmedridhahouhou's short stories collection “with the Elhakim's donkey"

Abstract

The author Ahmed Ridha Houhou could design some of the short story features in the Algerian literature throughout the French colonialism period. He’s considered as one of those who played the role of correcting the Algerian society’s belief and liberating people from the ethical deviation through monitoring and fighting social scourges . He used the meaningful irony as a tool for reforming and enlightening the society with an enjoyable ironical style, which we find it in his short stories collection “With the wiseman’s donkey”.
