Abstract

The sociological studies vary with the diversity of the preferences and specializations of researchers in selecting their topics, which in turn reflect part of their scientific and cultural interests often. Most of the sociological studies on the topic of community development have focused in essence on the nature of the social, cultural and relational structure of individuals. These societies are so that they can explain some social phenomena such as the nature of family construction, family functions, the most important social systems such as marriage, the nature of economic activities, social problems and the control of the characteristics that distinguish societies from each other.

However, these studies cannot provide an accurate explanation of these social phenomena in isolation from the physical environment of each society; The physical form of the urban community is completely different from that of the rural community, due to the different characteristics, culture and nature of their economic activity.

Each society has its own privacy, which is reflected in its behavior and relations with members of society, on the one hand, or its relationship with the physical sphere in which it lives, on the other, the rural is different from the other in its relationship with the field (land), because it is a place of residence and housing on the one hand, and the source of its living, wealth and isolation and isolation among its people on the other; His position in the group to which he belongs is determined by how much he owns it and how it is exploited.

Through this paper, we wanted to monitor the most important determinants of the use of the physical field, and to present a series of theories that provided explanations of rural behavior in the exploitation of the physical sphere, reflecting its culture and interest at this level. We have made this clear by identifying the socio-economic characteristics of the rural community, which came in the concept of rural center. In addition, the scientific and practical importance of this type of study is highlighted so that we can accurately understand what came in the theoretical heritage that dealt with the use of the field by focusing on the bases and limitations of this, while clarifying some of the weaknesses of theories, by presenting a series of criticisms directed against them.
