Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of crisis management in educational institutions in light of the Corona (Covid-19) pandemic from the point of view of secondary and intermediate education officials, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was used.

The study sample consisted of (239) headmasters, out of (801) headmasters present in secondary and middle education institutions from the study population represented in some cities of Algeria. The study sample was selected by cluster sampling. the study tool was designed by the researcher in the form of a questionnaire included five dimensions. After processing the data, the study reached many results; the most important of them: The presence of a high level in the sample members responses about the reality of crisis management in educational institutions in light of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19), which reached a relative weight (79.33)

The questionnaire dimensions were arranged as follows: communication to face the Corona pandemic was in first place with relative weight (82.29), then containment of the Corona pandemic in second place with relative weight (80.07), followed by third place for organizing to face the Corona pandemic with a relative weight (79.79), and in fourth place planning to face the Corona pandemic with a relative weight (78.67), whereas in last place came the stage of preparation and post-crisis activity with a relative weight (75.85).
