Abstract

The research titled Aggressive behavior among secondary school Adolescents aims to determine the level of aggressive behavior among secondary school adolescents. Additionally, it investigates whether there are differences in the aggression scores based on gender (male, female) and specialization (scientific, literary). The study employed a descriptive methodology, and the sample consisted of (352) secondary school adolescents selected from various schools in the city of M’sila using a stratified sampling method. To achieve the study’s objectives, the researchers utilized the Aggression scale developed by Abdullah Suleiman Ibrahim and Muhammad Nabil Abdel Hamid (1994). psychometric properties of the scale were calculated, and statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS software. The results revealed that the level of aggressive behavior among secondary school adolescents is low. Furthermore, statistically significant differences were found in aggression scores based on gender, favoring males. Additionally significant differences were observed in aggression scores based on specialization, favoring literary students. The study recommends the development of educational and psychological programs to mitigate aggressive behavior, encourage optimal use of leisure time through sports activities, and promote a non-violent approach in dealing with students. cooperation between parents and school management is also crucial for reducing aggressive behavior and fostering a spirit of love among students.
