Abstract

The higher education landscape is currently undergoing an unprecedented transformation, marked by the emergence of pedagogical paradigms that redefine the traditional roles of both teacher and learner. Facing the challenges of the digital transition and the need to develop critical skills, this article analyzes the shift from lecture-based methods toward hybrid and active models. The study focuses specifically on the flipped classroom strategy, implemented through the Moodle learning management system.

 Drawing on a quasi-experimental research design, this paper examines how shifting theoretical instruction to a virtual space frees up face-to-face time for co-construction activities and complex

 problem-solving. The results demonstrate that this approach not only optimizes academic performance and knowledge retention but also significantly increases students' intrinsic engagement. By offering a flexible and personalized learning environment, the flipped classroom via Moodle emerges as a robust response to contemporary challenges, preparing future graduates for sustainable autonomy in a constantly changing professional world.
