The current study aimed to explore the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship between social support and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) among patients with rheumatoid arthritis, while examining the correlational nature of these variables. The study was conducted on a sample of (31) patients, aged between 25 and 60 years. The research tools included a primary data
questionnaire (prepared by the researcher), the Mindfulness Scale (Radwan & Suwaid, 2021), the Social Support Scale (Shwaikh, 2004), and the health-Related Quality of Life Scale (Shwaikh & Al-Ghabashi, 2009). The results revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between mindfulness and health-related quality of life, as well as a significant positive correlation between social support and quality of life. Furthermore, regression analysis results using the Baron and Kenny method confirmed the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship between social support (as an independent variable) and health-related quality of life (as a dependent variable). These findings suggest that providing social support contributes to enhancing mindfulness, which in turn leads to improving the health-related quality of life for patients with rheumatoid arthritis
