Abstract

Abstract : Literary texts have linguistic features carrying within them the cultural characteristics that define the identity and the history of societies, they pose a translating problem linked to the way to transfer culture that often constitute an impediment for translators. This reality leads some theorists assume that this type of texts are untranslatable due to the difficulties that go with. In this paper, we tackle the problematic of cultural elements transfer in translation theory, trying in this context to understand the nature of obstacles, to expose translating method(s) within the strategy that comes up to the aim of the process, as well as to reveal the back ground and the challenges put forward by ideology in the actual practice of translation.
