Evaluating the Quality of Administrative Performance in the University - The PROGRESS System as a Model: A Field Study at Batna 1

Abstract

 

The study aimed to evaluate the quality of administrative performance at the university, using the PROGRES system as a model, from the perspective of professors and administrators at Batna 1 University. To achieve this goal, we relied on the descriptive methodology. The study tool was represented by the questionnaire "Evaluation of Administrative Performance Quality at the University: The PROGRES System as a Model from the Perspective of Professors and Administrators at Batna University," which was designed and applied to a sample of 30 professors and administrators at Batna 1 University. After calculating its psychometric properties, it was applied to the main study sample, consisting of 100 professors and administrators at Batna 1 University, selected using a stratified random sampling method. For statistical data analysis, the researcher relied on the SPSS 27 statistical package, utilizing statistical methods such as weighted averages, arithmetic means, and standard deviations. The following results were obtained: the use of the PROGRES system significantly contributes to improving the quality of pedagogical management from the perspective of professors and administrators at Batna 1 University; the use of the PROGRES system moderately contributes to improving the quality of managing postgraduate studies from the perspective of professors and administrators at Batna 1 University; the use of the PROGRES system has a moderate contribution to improving the quality of managing human resources from the perspective of professors and administrators at Batna 1 University.
