Abstract

Bejaia ,during the Hafsid era, was truly a beacon of knowledge and a destination for its students from all parts of the globe, because of its distinguished scholars who contributed to its intellectual and scientific renaissance. This uniqueness pushed “Al-Ghabrini” in his book “ Ounwan Al -dirya” to date for this enlightened era by translating works of eminent scientists; inhabitants and newcomers. Those scientists left glorious marks in and wrote an illuminating history with their great intellectual contributions
