Summary This paper aims to identify the ideas of Abd al-Rahman al-Hajj Salih in the field of education and learning through his creative contribution that appeared in the form of a scientific approach based on reconciling the results of linguistic thinking and mixing them with the results of modern linguistic theories, where he combined educational, scientific and linguistic views, calling for keeping up with Scientific development in the field of technology and informatics in building educational curricula, choosing means and methods, and focusing on granting freedom and responsibility to both the teacher and the learner, and the need to select content from the Arab linguistic heritage and adapt it to the mental and age capabilities of the learner and in line with the social environment in which he lives and this is what would contribute to understanding Arabic is a language.
