Abstract

. This research aims to study the stylistic structures in the letter of Al-Bashir Al-Ibrahimi، "To Al-Zahiri", as a prominent example of modern Arabic prose, through a stylistic approach that reveals the interaction between form and content. The main issue raised is how these stylistic structures manifest at the phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels, and their role in conveying meaning while maintaining aesthetic qualities, in addition to identifying the elements of proper style and their connection to context. The importance of this research lies in its attempt to link modern stylistic studies with a contemporary prose text, revealing the distinctive stylistic features of Al-Ibrahimi's prose. The study uses an analytical stylistic approach applied to a letter written within an intellectual conflict, where Al-Ibrahimi transformed language into a tool of influence, intertwining rhetoric with the political and cultural context. The research highlights how the style is employed to deepen meaning and reinforce identity in the face of colonialism, emphasizing the uniqueness of the text as a model of committed prose art.
