Abstract

This article highlights the dynamic relationship between digitalization and teamwork in public administration and explores how they interact to enhance organizational performance. Research in this field shows that digitalization acts as a catalyst for developing and activating teamwork by reducing administrative complexities and expediting processes. This transformation not only increases efficiency but also enhances performance, as traditional working methods are replaced by advanced, flexible, and efficient systems that ensure the rapid flow of information. Teamwork remains a critical factor in achieving institutional goals in contemporary organizations. It facilitates cooperation and collaboration among members, enabling the completion of tasks that require collective effort and shared responsibility. Effective teamwork hinges on strong group cohesion and active participation, both of which are essential for success. However, teamwork faces two significant challenges: first, the complexity of tasks assigned to groups, and second, the mechanisms and processes required to complete those tasks efficiently. Digital transformation addresses these issues by enabling the seamless exchange of real-time information and fostering a culture of shared values. This shift accelerates the development of information technologies, improves individual and organizational performance, and boosts the overall effectiveness of institutions. Moreover, digitalization plays a pivotal role in society’s evolution from traditional structures to a more advanced digital paradigm. This theoretical framework underscores the positive role of digitalization in creating opportunities for collaboration and enhancing task execution within organizations.
