This study aims to investigate the role of entrepreneurial culture in promoting the establishment of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) among university students. It focuses on an in-depth analysis of the components of this culture and their association with individuals' demographic variables, such as gender, age, and educational level. Furthermore, it addresses how these factors influence the shaping of entrepreneurial awareness and the stimulation of entrepreneurship within this demographic segment.
The scope of the research expands to encompass an analysis of the impact of surrounding external factors, such as the social environment, family, educational institution, and vocational training, alongside religious factors, customs, and traditional values. The study specifically seeks to explore the nature of the relationship between these constituents and the extent of their contribution to entrenching entrepreneurial culture to support the establishment of SMEs in the sports sector. This exploration is grounded in the theoretical framework represented by the relevant literature and previous studies in the field.
The methodology relied on a descriptive-analytical approach. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire instrument, administered to a random sample of (37) university students who own active sports SMEs in Khenchela Province. The questionnaire design was carefully formulated to cover two main axes; each linked to a specific sub-hypothesis. Scientific validation procedures for the instrument were undertaken, including tests to ensure its validity and reliability prior to the final implementation phase.
The analyses yielded a set of conclusions, the most prominent of which confirmed the decisive impact of entrepreneurial culture as a pivotal factor in establishing sports SMEs. This finding holds at the level of Khenchela Province as a case study, as well as at the broader national level.
