The impact of Organizational Problems on Enhancing Job Commitment

This scholarly paper addresses the role of organizational problems in fostering organizational commitment within institutions. Specifically, it aims to investigate the contribution of organizational challenges in enhancing the organizational commitment of individuals working within these institutions and how effectively addressing these issues can elevate the level of commitment and improve institutional performance. The research problem lies in understanding how the diverse dynamics of organizational problems impact the organizational commitment of employees and identifying appropriate means and methods to enhance the effectiveness of their resolution. The researcher employed the common descriptive-analytical approach to delineate the phenomenon under investigation and to analyze the various types of organizational problems and their differing impacts within the framework of the relationship between the two variables (organizational problems and organizational commitment). This analysis was based on diverse theoretical literature and prior studies relevant to the research objective. The key finding of this paper reveals that organizational problems play a significant role in the degree of fostering organizational commitment and achieving loyalty, which negatively impacts overall performance. This is a consequence of the conflicting objectives between the organization and its employees. Furthermore, the study affirmed that specific strategies, such as improving communication and promoting participative leadership, can enhance the effectiveness of problem resolution. It also highlights the necessity of adopting flexible strategies to adapt to various institutional challenges, particularly with the advent of the digital age and artificial intelligence, where the focus should be on competitive advantage for survival rather than internal conflicts and organizational problems. Therefore, enhancing the understanding of the relationship between organizational problems and organizational commitment can contribute to building a healthy and effective work environment, thereby contributing to the sustainable success of institutions.
