Design a scale to estimating the behavioral characteristics of a gifted child in the primary stage A field study in primary schools in El Taref state

This study aimed to design a scale to estimate the behavioral characteristics of gifted children in the primary stage (second, third, and fourth) from 7 to 9 years in the Algerian school according to modern theories in the detection of gifted children to provide a tool with high psychometric properties, so this study was conducted on a sample (18 children). The scale is in its final form of 66 sentences, which included 3 areas (analytical capabilities, practical capabilities, creative capabilities).
Its results showed that the scale has apparent validity (adopting the appropriate expressions by 80 percent), the validity of the construction (correlation of each dimension with the total degree), 0.97,0.93, 0.96, respectively, and self-validity 0.98, all of which are indicative at the level of 0.01 and are very high values, while stability ( By applying the application 0.96) and (by Alfakronbakh method to the whole scale 0.98 and its dimensions, respectively: 0.97, 0.96 and 0.98, all of which are function at the level of 0.01 and they are also very high values, as the scale fields were related to each other and the total degree and was able to determine the separation degree (15%) to identify The gifted child when applied to the main sample of the study, therefore, these results confirm my validity The use of the scale estimate the characteristics of gifted children in the primary stage. This study therefore recommends the adoption of a measure to estimate the behavioral characteristics of talented children at the primary level by those in charge of the educational process throughout the country.
