Abstract

Sex education is one of the most important topics that concern parents in particular and Arab’s Islamic societies in general ,The study aims to identify the attitudes of parents of children who are victims of sexual assault, Because they have experienced a paiful experience that is directly related to sex and its consequences, this study was conducted in the department of psychiatric and neurological diseases in the public hospital of IBN ZOHER, at Guelma city toward teaching or introducing sex education concepts in the educational curricula in the wilaya of Guelma, according to the age and education ( primary , middle , high school and university education )

The Area ( rural , urban ),stages of recipients, following the descriptive approach, an intended sample consists of (41) parent, (28 Mother and 13 Father), was selected using the parental trend scale toward the sexual education children is composed of (31) items, which was prepared by (Keshik , Mouna on 2012).

The results showed a positive trend toward incorporating sexual education concepts into the educational curricula of parents of children victims of sexual assault.

The results also found that there were no individual differences statistically significant at the level of (0.05) significance for parents, refers to the variable of the study, respectively: Gender, school level and residential area (country, city).
