Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of oppositional defiant among children in middle childhood from the point of view of their parents and also to identify the differences in the level of oppositional defiant according to the variables of sex and the work of the mother. The researcher used the comparative descriptive approach, and the study sample reached 120 students from Abdel  Hamid bin Badis School in the municipality Al-Omaria, in Medea state, they are studying the second and third year of primary school, The study relied on the oppositional defiant the scale of Majdi Mohammed Al-Desouki, and the study reached the following results:

-  The challenge level of oppositional defiant is low in children from the viewpoint of their parents.

- There are no statistically significant differences in oppositional defiant behavior due to the variables of sex and the work of the mother.
