Abstract

Abstract . Semiotics has been able, by its extensive conception in analysis, to extend its hold on various fields of knowledge over the years, and has established analytical models based on hypothesis and deduction. Moreover, it has been able to study deeply various discourses in order to reveal what is hidden according to a scientific thinking based on multiple intellectual and cognitive backgrounds. Then, probably the dramatic writing is among the discourses in which semiotics is interested, and which is based on the variety of its reading levels with encoded and organized structures for its elements, and therefore it forms a universe of relations and signs that have the ability of interpretation. In this regard, this study embodies its critical importance as it highlights the theatrical discourse from a semiotic perspective in order to reveal its meaning and make its senses questioning from the structure of the signs inherent to it.
