Abstract

The current study dealt with the subject of phonemic awareness pedagogy and its applicationس in the algerian school, and the aim of it was to identify the role of this pedagogy in Arabic language activities (reading activity) for first-year primary students in the 48 and 52 districts of M'sila . To achieve this goal, the study relied on the descriptive approach, a questionnaire consisting of (22) phrases was applied on a sample of 64 professors of both sexes, and after statistical treatment of the study data, the following result were reached:

- Phonological awareness pedagogy has a positive role in the reading activity of first-year students from the point of view of their teachers in the 48 and 52 districts of M'sila.
