Double-Blind Peer Review Process

Journal of Legal Studies and Researches (JLSR) uses a double-blind peer review system, meaning that the identities of authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the entire evaluation process.

The journal utilises the ASJP (Algerian Scientific Journal Platform) as its official system for submission management, editorial workflow, and review accreditation.

✅ 1. Submission by Author

Authors submit their manuscripts exclusively through the ASJP platform.

✅ 2. Initial Editorial Screening

Once submitted, the manuscript undergoes preliminary checks:

  • Scope Check: Ensures the content fits the aims and scope of JLSR.

Decision options:

  • Rejected: If out of scope or similarity is not acceptable.
  • Accepted for Evaluation: Proceeds to peer review.

Reviewers provide constructive comments and a recommendation:

Authors revise the manuscript based on reviewer feedback and resubmit it through ASJP.
