Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are comanies which have between 1 to 250 employees and which have an annual turnover not exceeding 4 billion dinar. Law number 02-17 for the development of SMEs includes 40 articles, compared with Law number 02-18, which contains 28 articles, while in the new law have been modified 22 articles and have been added 14 new articles. The purpose of this law is to define SMEs, identify support measures, and mechanisms for construction, development and sustainability.
