Constitutional Protection of the Principle of Equality According to the 2016 Algerian Constitutional Amendment
Keywords:
Constitutional protection, Principle of equality, Algerian ConstitutionAbstract
The principle of equality is one of the fundamental principles that must be respected and applied in the state, which the Algerian constitutional founder was keen to enshrine in accordance with the constitutional amendment of 2016. Society should not be based on differences stemming from differences in origin, gender, or religion, whether it concerns equality before the law, before the judiciary, in the consecration of rights and freedoms, especially political ones, or equality in other rights such as the right to education, or the right to hold public office in the state.
