The Legal Nature of Industrial Property Designated for Investment in Algerian Legislation
Keywords:

Investment is considered the primary driver for achieving economic development. Accordingly, many countries in general, and Algeria in particular, have sought to give it significant attention within their strategic policies and development plans. This has prompted investors, particularly in the industrial sector, to seek abundant real estate resources allocated for this purpose on the one hand, and on the other, to facilitate procedures for acquiring property. To prevent the spread of unlawful real estate speculation, the Algerian legislator has intervened by establishing a substantial legal framework aimed at regulating both property and investment. Therefore, in presenting this research paper, we aim to define the position of industrial real estate investment within the existing legal classification of immovable property, distinguishing between public national property, private national property, and private property, while considering the different classifications of industrial property itself, which will be examined from all perspectives in our study.
