To know the mission of these mechanisms, in the present study, we will assess the role of the special rapporteur in charge of freedom of religion and belief. We will present the results that have been achieved and which reflect the emergence of the important role of the special rapporteur in the protection and strengthening of the right in question, the importance of the right to freedom of religion and belief in the United Nations system (Support tolerance, coexistence) as well as the obstacles that stand in the role of the rapporteur and ways of avoiding and overcoming them.
