The guarantee of perfect completion of works is a legal obligation whose purpose is to repair any defects noted by the client, in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the contract, so that the works conform to the condition they should have upon acceptance. In Algerian law, this guarantee was inspired by French legislation, which was the first to create such a guarantee and to develop a corresponding legal system for its application. However, the Algerian legislature's regulation of this guarantee contains gaps and shortcomings, particularly regarding its scope and methods of application.
