Abstract

The phenomenon of terrorism has become the greatest threats to the international community, in the world of today is exposed to a huge wave of criminal acts that target innocent people in their lives and their money, and the disruption of economic and social activity in this world because of the fear and panic and distrust not only among individuals but also between countries. What characterized the violence and the legacy of an atmosphere of horror and dismay in addition to the deployment of destruction and devastation, and according to UN estimates last century is environmentally and humanly worst, the result of what they have seen many terrorist attacks have had a deep impact and damage to the environment. In spite of the prohibition of international treaties use of all forms of weapons that harm the environment, and to consider the deliberate damage to the natural environment and basic elements of war crimes and crimes against humanity; what is still the desire of terrorist groups to achieve their objectives without taking into account the safety of the environment from air, water, soil and animal.
